sonsonate Are you talking about the purplish blue light in the center? It brings the blue and red of the buildings on the left, over to the right side of the pictures. Provides a bit of balance in that way. I think the photo looks really reasonable. Would be nice hung big behind a couch in a man-cave, or down the side of a movie theater room.
I never got to shoot film... well not really. Only ever had disposables before I got into photography (my Dad has an SLR somewhere - I don't even know what it is). But I've dreamed of shooting on AGFA B&W - like AGFA Scala 200. I also really liked the look of AGFA RSX 50 II (for color). Of course now all the AGFA production facilities and processing facilities are defunct. Terrible shame.Portra is such a great film, I prefer the 160 over Ektar 100. Very natural colors.
I'm going to go with others and just say it's a great series of shots.Long exposure + short (for highlights) exposure x 3 =
Too bad about the Intrepid museum though. The colors on the aircraft carrier museum kind of kills it for me, but try as I might, I couldn't make it visually appealing in anyway, hahah.
My new Pentax 67 mark II and FUJI 400H rated at 200.
Very cool!
