Looks fucking awesome. The gunplay/combat in the first games always felt lacking, this looks really good and impactful. And graphically of course it's beautiful using UE5.
I actually read Roadside Picnic not too long ago...pretty interesting...
Demos weren't full priced back then, they used to free. If they're locking content in a paid game behind a pay wall it needs to be clear so the player doesn't start using the content before being walled off. Pay per mission in your $70 is...
I’m actively fighting Adobe right now over their tech support, it’s 2 weeks in into my 4th agent and second account manager.
Adobe is an absolute mess right now.

Welcome to 1984, sorry I mean 2024. Forget you'll own nothing you pay for, you no longer even own what you create.
Okay, this is looking really good. I wonder how Konami will fuck it up? It looks like they'll have their work cut out for it!
My guess is rampant microtransactions introduced after reviews publish, buggy/broken release, internal drama of not...
If you were to get a 7800x3D now and primarily played games at 1440p and above I'd say you could forget about Ryzen 9000 entirely. You're overall experience is unlikely to be any different between the two for AAA titles at high resolutions.
I...
I'm talking from a gaming perspective, so keep that in mind. If you look at CPU-bound situations the 7800X3D can be up to 25% faster than the 5800X3D, but as resolution goes up that gap shrinks quickly. At UHD 4K it's as little as 5%, but I...
The OG stalker games really are oustanding for the atmosphere, some of my favorite FPSs, I still replay them every now and then, and they hold up. I need to try some of the mods for them.
It wasn't UE, it was an art style that was popular around that time. Example of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter which used an in house engine. This has a bit more of a yellow look, but the overall design is still very brown. The sequel, GRAW 2...
I don't mind it being a paid DLC. But allowing you to start a quest line and then blocking it off behind a paywall is predatory and a shitty business practice. I also think it would be a lame DLC in the first place because it sounds like more...
So basically the first part of the Bounty Hunter expansion is free, but the 2nd quest (and probably future quests) are all paid. Why not just bundle it all into a single paid DLC?
Older article, but length will be more similar to Outer Worlds than Skyrim. I for one am happy about that. If they focus more on story telling like they imply, that would be good. I don't like RPG games that focus on spending hours grinding/fetch...

He seems like he really enjoys the games, which is nice. And also why I prefer voice actors over Hollywood actors that many games are pushing these days. They just take a big check, record their lines...
I get that impression as well. Makes me wonder how it will feel to play. Maybe they're specifically aiming for some kind of feel to it, but I can't imagine what. Pity more games don't have demos these days.
I just played through Gears 5 a week ago and it was a very stable experience.
I'll probably check out this new title, I'm not a huge Gears fan, but when I do play them, I enjoy myself.
